Upcoming events through May

A few exciting events happening in the near future:

  • My new play, When I Come To My Senses, I'm Alive! is opening April 23rd at Annex Theatre, directed by Macha Monkey's executive artistic director and long time pal of mine, Kristina Sutherland. I saw a full run through earlier this week and it is looking HELLA GOOD! Opening night will feature an after-party at which DJ Michael Holden will be getting the beats on. Get your tickets now!
  • I will be doing a pair of DJ sets at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival this year: from 6-7pm on Thursday, April 29, and from 4:30-6pm on Saturday, May 1. Spinning at SEAF was an enjoyably low key affair for me last year and I'm looking forward to bringing some good old-fashioned eclecticism to the proceedings once again.
  • Brian Kinyon and I will be performing in our duo configuration of Elegant Catastrophe Singers at the Nebunele Theatre benefit, Carnival of the Little Crazies, on May 3rd. I have it on good authority we will be performing "St. James Infirmary" and our mashup of "Major Tom (Coming Home)"/"When Doves Cry." Dig it.
  • One of my recent 14/48 short plays, That Doesn't Sound Right At All, was selected for inclusion in this year's Stone Soup Theatre Playwrights Festival. Shawn Law will be reprising his role as Elvis, joined by Jen Moon and Jillian Vashro; I'm directing the piece. Catch it during the May 13-16 weekend.
