Header design by Erowid eScottologyFor a few years, I was a monthly columnist on Erowid, penning a range of missives on psychoactive-related topics. My columns were a mix of slapstick, satire, and occasionally serious explorations of how individuals and culture react to the myriad of experiences offered by psychoactives. I still write these every now and then, but the monthly-ness has long since faded; however, I'm still quite happy with the thinking that went into these. Each of these was lovingly edited by the Erowid staff, notably Spoon, who did the heavy-lifting in terms of copy-editing and structural/thematic advice, and Earth and Fire, who provided detailed feedback and very good food for thought. (Note: non-fiction installments of eScottology are archived in my Non-Fiction section.)
